Kyle Holland (b. 1990, lives and works in Tuscaloosa, AL, United States)
Kyle Holland is a visual artist who was born and raised in Memphis, TN where he earned his BFA in Printmaking from Memphis College of Art in 2012. He received his MFA in Book Arts + Printmaking at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA in 2019. His work has been exhibited internationally, including noted shows at the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking in Atlanta, GA; the Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland, OH; The Center for Book Arts in New York City; Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN; and the King St. Stephen Museum in Hungary. His work is in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Nevada Museum of Art, The Center for Book Arts, Yale University, Rhode Island School of Design, and UC Berkeley among others. Holland was awarded the Scholarship for Advanced Studies in Book Arts at The Center for Book Arts in 2012 and was invited to participate in Extra Pulp, an exchange portfolio featuring handmade paper works by 20 prominent papermakers who utilize paper as its own form of expression, in 2019. Holland is an Instructor and Studio Manager for the MFA Book Arts Program at The University of Alabama.
